Blackbird & Ancestors, the brilliant new album from powerhouse pianist Beth Levin on Aldilà Records.
This live album features the world premiere recording of a long-lost five-movement cycle for piano by Heinz Tiessen (1887-1971) titled 5 Pieces Op. 21a, which Levin has revived after more than 100 years, as well as Mozart's Sonata in A minor and Schubert's Sonata in G major.
